Experience the taste of Ven in our restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Fish, shellfish and seaweed from the sea, harvests from the lush fields of Ven, the rich wildlife including deer, hare, pheasants, ducks and geese. Also all of the nuts, fruits, herbs & berries that paint every garden in but also to a large extent, grow wild in nature.

With our unique location, we of course advocate the local & seasonal and are happy to combine the tradition of Scandinavian cuisine with new influences to create a genuine restaurant experience for all food lovers.

Good food deserves to be enhanced and stimulated by the right choice of drinks.
We are happy to pass on our suggestions and always try to make the sustainable choice to meet the ambition of taste and good quality for the price.

We produce non-alcoholic alternatives in house using fruit and berries from the island and happily add local producers and breweries. However, the foundation is our wine experience.

We are knowledgeable and we try with our mantra "best taste closest to us" to create a cellar that can contribute to a hightened experience when you enjoy good wine as part of the experience here with us.

In the best of worlds, we would offer wine that, like our food, has its' origins on our island. However, no wine is grown on the island yet, at least not for commercial purposes, and so, with our vision of "Best Taste Closest to Us" in hand, we have turned our attention to the European continent. Fortunately, the most dynamic wine scene the world has to offer is found in Europe, which is why our focus stays here. We consciously work with wine as part of your experience here with us.

We have an unpretentious approach to conversation and recommendations, but we hope we can meet and inspire everyone, regardless previous knowledge and preferences.

Our sommelier's relentless curiosity and enthusiasm results in an ever-evolving wine list based on smaller producers who dare to take risks and create wines with distinct character and a sense of "terroir". This means that the winemakers care about the land they farm and see the joy in the craft they create. The aim is not to have the biggest cellar, but to find a balance where there is something good for everyone to enjoy, whatever the occasion.

Intertwined with a personal hospitality, we hope to give you a genuine wine experience.
