We aspire for a personal and unpretentious style in our approach as hosts and hostesses. The same perspective characterizes our furnishings and interiors where old and new meet to connect time and people with different preferences in the best way.
We don't know exactly everything about food and wine, but we know what we serve and we are happy to receive your feedback and talk food and wine with you during your stay with us. An experience in the "Kitchen of Ven" is rooted in our hospitality and our passion for our island. We know our surroundings and are happy to guide you.

"Best Taste Closest to Us"
Our gastronomic vision is a brilliant benchmark for us in balancing taste and sustainability together in the great Scandinavian food experiences we stand for. We prioritize everything local because the fresh and seasonal ingredients often add more flavor while they support our ecological, social and economic sustainability. Taste and quality are the decisive factors when we from Ven look for the "Best Taste Closest to Us".
The Seasonal Menu of Ven
Every day of the year, the kitchen team composes an up-to-date "Hvensk seasonal menu" consisting of 4 unique servings. You might start with a pre-drink or some bubbles on our veranda before being served our stone oven baked bread, Ven's rapeseed oil and butter. After that, you need only sit back and relax while we serve you our specially curated four course meal of the evening.

A visit to our restaurant also means a visit into the "Kitchen of Ven". By this, we mean an updated and local interpretation of classic Swedish and Danish food traditions with a small addition of international technique. Expect a rural and natural style in taste and presentation where you can't find everything but at least something for everyone with an open mind. We work with cooking from scratch so all food preferences are a loving challenge for us.

Here we enjoy good food & drink and each other's company with the landscape of Ven right by our side. This gives the sensation of being both indoor and outdoors at the same time.
The old glass sections act as a large illuminating canvas that in a wonderful way blends with the interiors, day and evening.
Cozy and elaborate but still welcoming
Our outdoor terrace & garden
The Ven experience is, to great extent, a wonderful outdoor experience.
As early as early spring and well into summer, the sun warms up our outdoor terrace. Here we are able to sit right next to the fields, watching the silhouettes of deer in the evening sun in front of the soft horizon, with Öresund and Denmark in the backdrop.

In our larger dining room, the inn's characterist interior continues to embrace us with its loving ambiance.
This is our biggest space for larger groups, and we can host up to 110 sitting guests depending on furnishing.
The manor room, "finrummet" or "kristallen" as it is also called among the staff is often the quieter section that can also be reserved for a meeting or dinner, for your own party of between 8 and 30 seated guests, as needed.
