The Kitchen of Ven
Visiting our restaurant also means a visit to "The Kitchen of Ven", our updated and local interpretation of the classic Swedish and Danish cuisine.
Every day of the year, the team in the kitchen composes a current "Menu of Ven" consisting of 4 unique servings that start with our stone-baked bread, Ven's rapeseed oil and butter, followed by the four finely tuned dishes of the evening.

Food from scratch
Few places have such a wide, exciting and varied range of produce as our island of Ven. A true Eldorado for skilled chefs, who can find new ingredients to refine in the kitchen every day.
Soil conditions and the unique microclimate have a positive impact on the harvest from our talented growers and farmers on the island.
In addition, there is so much to forage from nature with all the fish, seaweed and shellfish from the sea, the large game population of deer, hares, pheasants, ducks and pigeons, and of course all the wild berries, fruits and herbs that we can collect with delight on our daily walks around the island.
