The Christmas celebrations here at the historic inn are always centered around food and family. As our guests over Christmas, you can expect an informal atmosphere where you enjoy spending time together, feel at home and, above all, you will enjoy good food, drink and everything that the fantastic atmosphere between our four walls can offer. There is a special feeling when all the candles are lit up and spread their glow throughout our inn.

At the same time, the starlight outside in the evenings and at night is as captivating as it was during Tycho Brahe's time, which makes an evening walk in our calm surroundings unique.

December 23 - "pre Christmas Eve"
Check-in from 13.00 onwards

13.00 - 16.00 Christmas crafts where we also decorate our tree in the dining room
15.00 - 16.30 Mulled wine, nuts and Danish "Äbleskiver"
18.00 - 20.00 Two-course seasonal menu with homemade bread & butter
20.00 Time for socializing with analog games, time for a good book, "relaxing on the couch" and maybe something from the bar.

December 24 - Christmas Eve
No stress. Rest, go for a long walk or participate in activities at your leisure.

08.30 - 10.00 House of Ven's delicious country breakfast
12.30 - 15.00 Lunch - The Swedish Christmas Dinner - part 1
All the herring, salmon, cold cuts and many other specialities are served in well-composed acts to your own table.
15.00 Christmas with Donald Duck in the "TV sofa" with "julmust", nuts & mulled wine.

December 24 - Christmas Eve

18.30 - approx. 20.30 Christmas dinner - Ven's Christmas Dinner - part 2
We sit at our own or shared tables as desired. The dinner is served as "Social dining" with time for conversation and socialization.
Among the hot dishes you will find Danish pork roast, red cabbage and sauce and traditional Swedish Christmas ham with stewed rapeseed leaves, "Jansson's" and all other delicacies from Kathrin Baake Lithander's team in the kitchen.
We finish the evening with the house Christmas specialty: Rice á la Mande with almond, vanilla and sea buckthorn sorbet

21.00 The tree is lit and we spend time together at the table or however we like.
In addition, there is fruit, homebaked goods, chocolate & Christmas candy for those who wish.

23.30 Midnight mass in St. Ibbs medieval church for those who want to attend

01.00 Good night

December 25 - Christmas Day

09.00 - 11.00 We wake up to an extra long and delicious Country Breakfast
